Honoring Our Heroes
The Middletown Benefit Police Association is a dedicated group of bagpipers and drummers who honor and remember our local police officers and firefighters.
With years of experience in performing at funerals, ceremonies, and remembrances, our skilled musicians provide solemn and respectful music that pays tribute to our fallen heroes. We understand the importance of creating a fitting and dignified atmosphere during these solemn occasions.
Over the years, we have had the honor of serving a wide range of clients, including law enforcement agencies, fire departments, municipality organizations, and bereaved families. Our commitment to delivering heartfelt performances and paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of our heroes has earned us a trusted reputation in the community.

Our Mission
The Middletown Police Benefit Association (MPBA) Bagpipe Band is a non-profit corporation formed to promote the traditions culture, history, and music of the Irish, Scots, and Celtic peoples and their American descendants through the development of a bagpipe band.
We are organized and dedicated to supporting the region’s police departments and establishing and maintaining a feeling of mutual respect, cordial relations, and goodwill between law enforcement and the local community. We are also organized to raise and distribute funds exclusively for charitable and educational purposes for qualifying persons and organizations.
The Band is very grateful to the Middletown Elks Lodge #771 for providing us a space to rehearse most Thursday Nights..come check us out.
The Band is also very thankful to our Community Partners for their support and generosity. The Community Foundation of Middletown has been instrumental in helping the band raise donations to obtain custom-made rope tension drums by Calderwood Drums of Boston, MA. Thank you for the support! Our Structure
The MPBA Pipeband is organized to raise and distribute funds exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including such purposes as, the distribution of funds to organizations that qualify as exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Services Code, or corresponding section of any future tax code.
